Sean Garlick
Sean’s working life started out as a NSW Policeman whilst playing Rugby League for the South Sydney Rabbitohs. Unlike footballers of today, Sean worked fulltime in various sections of the Police throughout a 13 year career, whilst playing First Grade football for the Rabbitohs and Sydney Roosters Clubs.
Known for playing above his weight throughout his career in the hooking position, Sean was identified by fellow players and coaches as a natural leader and became captain of both foundation Clubs.
During his playing days Sean became a regular face on Channel Nines “The Footy Show“, a role he continued with beyond his playing days. Sean spent 5 years as a commentator for Optus Vision and Fox Sports as well as guest appearances on Channel Seven’s Footy Grandstand and Radio 2GB.
In 2001, Sean served as a Director on the Board of the South Sydney Rabbitohs before taking up a position as Football Operations Manager with the Club.
Sean always saw himself being involved in Rugby League for life but things changed quickly when Garlo’s Pies began taking off beyond everyone’s belief. Sean’s current goal is to deliver and manage the growth of Garlo’s Pies and implement strategies to ensure that the company remains competitive within the retail and wholesale market place.
